After attaining a string of excellent, academic qualifications (topped by a 2/1 Honours Degree from Southampton University in English and Philosophy) Ruth decided to pursue her ambition of becoming a fashion photographer. She completed an internship with celebrated, fashion photographer, Elisabeth Hoff, during which she assisted her on prestigious photo shoots for high end fashion magazines. She then worked at Skin Studios in Kensington on shoots for a range of clients.

Having been involved in the workings of the photographic industry at the top end of the spectrum and feeling truly inspired, she launched her own career. Since doing so, Ruth has had considerable success. The highlights of her career so far include:

• Flying to Monaco to shoot an editorial based around the sights of Monte Carlo, including the renowned Monte Carlo Casino and on a luxury yacht silhouetted against the picturesque coastline.
• Shooting a swimwear shoot with Jessica Wright from hit tv show The Only Way Is Essex on a beach in Puerto Banus, Marbella.
• Photographing the cast of Coronation Street as they had their make up done backstage at the National Television Awards.
  
• Being televised as photographer on Austria's Next Top Model when two of the finalists were flown over for an Amplified Clothing shoot in East London.
• Photographing some of the Britain's Next Top Model finalists on a dark and urban themed shoot.Being asked to photograph Katie Price backstage at Pure London where she showcased her fashion label Day 22 and subsequently co-ordinating and photographing several lookbook shots for the clothing label.

Ruth is a young, talented photographer who specialises in fashion and beauty shoots, both in studio and varied locations. She is based in South West London.
